Caben John Trent, age 27, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away on Friday March 2, 2018. Caben was born September 20, 1990 to Helen Lenore Hopkins Fortner and William Paul Trent. Caben is survived by; son Nicholas Caben Trent; mother Helen Lenore Hopkins Fortner; brother James Paul Trent, brother Kyle Hodges and sister Elizabeth Christine Hodges; stepfather Timothy Ray Fortner, stepsister Amber Dawn Fortner, cousin Joshua Hopkins and aunts Kathryn Trent and Sharon Trent. Caben was preceded in death by; father William Paul Trent. A visitation for Caben will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Drive, Bassett, Virginia 24055. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Roy McVay officiating and burial to follow at Critz Baptist Church Cemetery, 3284 Dogwood Road, Critz, Virginia 24082.
