Kenneth Ray Holt

Kenneth Ray Holt, 67, of Stanleytown, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County. He was born on March 18, 1948 in Martinsville to Gilmer Holt and Ruth Haley Holt.

Kenneth was employed by FasMart as a Cashier and had been an Assistant Manager for Food Lion, Maxway and Family Dollar Store. He served in the US Navy and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Vanessa Renee Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Dell Willis Holt of Stanleytown; two sons, Scott Holt, who is serving in the military and William Holt of Collinsville; one step-daughter, Malinda Willis Easter of Fieldale; one brother, Timothy Wayne Holt of Bassett and one granddaughter, Miranda Mae Holt.

The family will receive friends Monday August 24, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Collins Funeral Chapel and at other times at the home of Georgia and Willie Joyce, 216 Shadyview Road, Fieldale.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday August 25, at 1:00 P.M.

at Collins Funeral Home-Bassett Chapel with Pastor, Leonard Hall and Pastor Mike Price.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

Pallbearess will be, Eldon Young, Anthony Meeks, David Boyd, Cody Meeks, James Laws and Roger Moore.
