Mary Lou Worley

The funeral for Mary Lou Worley, age 77, of Collinsville, will be at 2 P.M. on Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Bassett with Pastor Raymond Moorefield officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

Mary Lou was born in West Virginia on June 24, 1933. She went to be with her Lord on March 9, 2011, after a brief stay at Stanleytown Health and Rehab Center.

She was predeceased by her parents Ray Worley and Mary Goard Worley, and her brother, Roscoe Worley.

She was retired from Bassett Walker, and was a long time member of Bible Baptist Church where she was a faithful and diligent worker. She was a member of the Hardin Reynolds Alumni Association, and she had volunteered at Stanleytown Rehab for over 15 years.

She is survived by two nephews, Jerrell Worley of Patrick Springs, and Ernest Worley of Holden Beach, NC, who was like a son to her. She is also survived by a very special cousin, Amaryllis Weatherington of Bassett, and six great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
