

Born September 17, 1951, in Martinsville, she was a daughter of the late Matthew King and Edith Mabe King. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice King Surface.
Becky worked for Bassett-Walker and Vanity Fair for 26 years, and most recently worked for Team Nurse in Martinsville. She was a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School.
Surviving are her husband, William N. "Bill" Kinney, her daughter, Jennifer Wingfield Gammons, and her husband, Jason, of Collinsville, her son, William Niven Kinney IV, and his wife, Amanda, of Greensboro, NC, two sisters, Wilma Young of Richmond and Irene Hopkins of Ridgeway, three brothers, Fred King of Richmond, Frank King of West Palm Beach, FL, and David King of Martinsville, and two granddaughters, Lola Camille Kinney and Ashtyn Grace Gammons.
The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett, with the Rev. David King officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville.
The family will receive friends Friday, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Collins Funeral Home, and at other times at the home, 100 Pinehurst Lane, Bassett.
