Timothy Stevenson Wimbish

Timothy Stevenson Wimbish, 56, of Bassett, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was born April 12, 1961 in Eden, NC to Rebecca Stevenson Wimbish and the late Charles Thomas Wimbish, Sr. Tim was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his former spouse, Sandra Arnold Wimbish, sons; John Timothy Wimbish and wife, Ashley, Dustin Michael Wimbish and wife, Stephanie, and Matthew Thomas Wimbish, grandchildren; Savannah, Kayleigh, Brentley, Thomas, and Cameron Wimbish, brother; Charles “Chuck” T. Wimbish, Jr. and wife, Susan. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett with Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Martinsville-Henry County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
