Wendell Thomas, 77, of Stuart, VA, passed away on December 9, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born April 4, 1938 in High Point, North Carolina to the late Nancy Johnson Thomas and Dewey Thomas.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Thomas, son, Sam Thomas of Stuart, VA daughter, Kim Sanders and husband Mike of Thomasville, NC, , three grand-children, Meigan McMullen and husband “DJ” of Thomasville, NC, Morgan Farrah and husband Jason of Ocala, FL, Tyler Sanders and wife Melanie of Greenville, NC, and one brother Thurman Thomas of Denton, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Fort Trial Christian Church with Pastor Milford Witt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
