

He was born October 16, 1925 in Bluefield, WV to Will and Betty Hairston Estes Hughes, both of whom preceded him in death. He was retired from JD Bassett Manufacturing where he worked as a sprayer. Mr. Estes was a member of Faith Tabernacle Last Day Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Maude Waller Estes, and a sister, Willie Mae Estes.
He is survived by four daughters, Denise Jackson (Warren) of Martinsville, Doris Murray (Bradley) of Richmond, Betty Estes of Ohio and Antoinette Y. Estes of Richmond, six sons, William Estes, Jr. of Martinsville, David Estes of Eden, NC, Harry Estes (Tonya) of Ridgeway, Charlie Estes (Barbara) of Fayetteville, NC, Anthony Estes (Frances), of Eden, NC and Michael Estes (Jackie) of Stafford, 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Faith Tabernacle Last Day Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bishop Loretta Wells Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Denise Jackson, 1203 Middle Stret, Martinsville, VA.
Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.
Collins Funeral Home in Bassett is serving the Estes family.
