Lorraine was born on Sept. 16, 1932 in Campti, LA. She passed away July 13, 2012 in Baton Rouge. Those left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life include her sister, Mary Lois Fisher; daughter Vickie Bernard Johnson and husband Trey of Baton Rouge; and son Michael Wayne Bernard and wife Kim of Atlanta. Her grandchildren are: Diana, Maxwell and Lilly Johnson; Brittney, Austin and Mason Bernard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William E. Bernard; her parents, Joseph Isadore and Minnie Mae Shivers Maricelli; her brother, Harold Maricelli; and sisters, Hazel M. McCaskill and Ivy Elise M. Grubb. Visitation will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Pallbearers will be Maxwell Johnson, Austin Bernard, Mason Bernard, John Bent, Derrick Savoie and Cade E. Carter Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Ellis Samaha. Burial at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
