

Alfred Keith Lockwood Sr., age 88, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He served in the United States Army and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Alfred was also a Chemical Engineer and performed carpentry work; such as, building cabinets, woodworking and furniture upholstering. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Alfred is survived by his children, Frances DeLaune (Jeff) of Denham Springs, Karen Waggenspack (Phil) of Baton Rouge, Al Lockwood (Debbie) of Prairieville, Cathy Duhon (John) of Lafayette, and Margaret Eisenbeisz (Todd) of Thornton, CO; siblings, Carolyn Lockwood and James Lockwood, Jr.; along with 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Beysselance Lockwood; parents, Martha Greaud Lockwood and James Lockwood, Sr.; and brother, Larry Lockwood.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th from 5PM to 8PM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, located at 825 Government St. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 8th at 10AM at St Agnes Catholic Church officiated by Father Brent Maher; burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers to serve are Caleb DeLaune, Brian Waggenspack, Drake Waggenspack, Jordan Lockwood, Kyle Duhon, and Joshua Eisenbeisz. Honorary pallbearers are Greg DeLaune, Chad Waggenspack, Matthew Lockwood, David Lockwood, Nathan Lockwood, Sean Lockwood, Evan Duhon, Andrew Duhon, and Trevor Eisenbeisz.
