Amanda Kay Hart, age 45, passed away on Wednesday February 4th, 2026, at her residence in Denham Springs. Born in Baton Rouge, LA to her loving parents; Martha Castille and Joseph Acampora. Amanda was the devoted mother to Megan Hart. Loving sister to Jennifer Acampora McElroy (Doug) and the aunt of Jordan Westbrook and Jackson McElroy.
Amanda was a dedicated and valued employee of the OMV Medical Unit for the past 20 years. On her spare time, Amanda loved to study The Bible, shop, get her nails done, watch movies like “Gone with the Wind “while eating her favorite food, boiled crawfish but most of all, Amanda loved to spend time with her best friend and daughter, Megan.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents; Joseph and Dorothy Acampora and L D and Audrey Wilson; nephew Eli McElroy.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial park.
