
She was a teacher in Special Education, and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Andrea died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at The Butterfly Wing of the Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Hospice of Baton Rouge, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 49. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the religious service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Pastor Kim Little-Brooks of Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Join us in a celebration of Andrea's life, especially her dedication to children who were blessed by her gifts of love. Andrea is survived by her husband: Brent E. Beatty; father: Vincent Webb Miranda, Sr.; daughter: Natalie Clare Bombet; son: Seth Abraham Bombet; sisters: Rene' Elizabeth Miranda, Mary Agnes Miranda and Deanna Miranda Yablonsky; brother: Vincent Webb Miranda, Jr. She was preceded in death by her son: Joshua Albert Bombet; and her mother: Marian Peltier Miranda. Pallbearers will be Jim Engsgter, James Peltier Jr., Jacques Peltier, Robby Peltier, Vincent Webb Miranda Jr. and Seth Abraham Bombet. Honorary pallbearers are Steven L. Beatty and Gary Cooper. Andrea had a Masters Degree in Special Education.
