
A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, she died at her home Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, after a brief but hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 67. Happy was dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral home, 825 Government St. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Harris; her daughters, Debbie Waguespack, of Baton Rouge, and Dana Duncan and her husband Charlie, of Houston; her grandchildren, Jordan and Paige Waguespack, Ryan and Brandon Duncan; her sister, Flora "Jingle" Goudeau and her husband Jack, of Thibodaux; and her stepchildren, Tracey and Mahlon Harris, Pam Welch and her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Will Ourso Jr.; and her parents, Dr. William H. Cook and Flora Higginbotham Cook, of Baton Rouge. Many special thanks to Dr. Vince Cataldo and Dawn Landry at the Hematology Oncology Clinic, and Patti Weatherly and Leslie Kinney with Amedisys Home Heath and Hospice.
