

"A native of Houston, TX and resident of Baton Rouge, Ann Carter Landry passed away at 9:31 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at age 76. Visitation will be at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., on Monday, March 27, 2017, from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am celebrated by Rev. Brad Doyle. Entombment will follow in St. George Mausoleum. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maud and Roy Carter; first husband, John Richard Dean; and son, Steven Hoyt Dean. Ann is survived by husband, Edward S. Landry, Jr.; brother, Roy Edward Carter, Jr., MD and wife Ruth Putnam Carter; beloved niece, Ruth Carter Wilson; nephew, Edward Putnam Carter; great-nephews, Travis Stephen Wilson and Kyle Edward Wilson; and great-niece, Kathryn Ann Wilson. Ann was a prolific needle pointer having taught needlepoint on local and national levels in Houston and Baton Rouge. She was very active in St. George Catholic Church and in the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. The family would like to thank Dr. Vince Cataldo for his love and support of Ann.
