
A resident of Gonzales and a native of Baton Rouge, she died at 1:52 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008, at her home, with her loving family at her side. She was 76 years young and loved dancing to Cajun and Swamp Pop music. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and retired from Fourrier Insurance Agency. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, April 4, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2250 Main St., on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Donald Blanchard, celebrant. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by three daughters, Patti S. Campbell and fiancé Larry Chaffin, Linda S. Thibodeaux, Dottie S. Monistere and husband Mike; two sons, Louis P. III "Doody" and friend Diane Hoover and Russell S. and friend Mimi Wells; eight grandchildren, Jill Lamberth and husband Jason, Matthew Campbell and wife Becky, Wade Campbell and wife Joanna, Angela Barr and husband Joseph, Josh Thibodeaux, Kelli and Kodie Monistere, and Katelyn Macias and husband Ramon; seven great- grandchildren; brother, Lynn J. Landry Jr. and wife Jan; sister, Shirley L. Chaney; and sister-in-law, Sr. Camille Simoneaux, CSJ. Preceeded in death by her husband, Louis P. Simoneaux Jr.; parents, Lynn J. Landry Sr. and Rita Cline Landry; son-in-law, Terry Thibodeaux and longtime friend Harry P. Comeaux. Pallbearers will be Matt Campbell, Wade Campbell, Jason Lamberth, Josh Thibodeaux, Joseph Barr and Ramon Macias. The family would like to thank Dr. Georgia Reine, M.D. Anderson Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospice.
