The family requests donations in Mom's memory to Baton Rouge Hospice. She was a gracious lady who we loved dearly and will be missed greatly. Sweet dreams Mommie. On Monday, Nov. 17, visitation was held at Jefferson Methodist Church, 10328 Jefferson Highway, from 5 p.m. until service at 6:30 p.m. Billie's Recipe for Life: Take a dash of water cold, And a little of leaven of prayer, A little bit of sunshine gold, Dissolve in the morning air. Add to your meal some merriment, And a thought for kith and kin, And then, as prime ingredient, A plenty of work thrown in. But spice it all with the essence of love, Add a little whiff of play; Let a wise old Book and a glance above Complete the well spent day.
