
A resident of The Haven at Windermere, Baton Rouge, she passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. Cara was 84. She attended LSU and was a retired Realtor, who in 1987 received an award as Most Cooperative Realtor from the Baton Rouge Board of Realtors. Prior to her real estate career, she directed a play-school for young children in her home in Broadmoor. Survived by her children, Linley Noonan Brown and husband Patrick, William E. Noonan III and wife Beth, Nancy Lalah Noonan, and Lori Noonan Maritato and husband Mark; stepchildren, Stephen Rapier and wife Susan, John Rapier and wife Judy, and Carolyn Rapier; grandchildren, Karen Denise Brown Ernst, Traci Brown Tuffin and husband Gary, Lisa Brown Venegas, Ben Noonan, Blaire Noonan, Kelly Wallace, and Brooke Montgomery Anderson and husband Mike; stepgrandchildren, Regina Rapier, Stephen Rapier, Rebecca Rapier Whittaker and husband Ryan, Michelle Gehegan Ford and husband Wade, and David Gehegan and wife Valerie; great-grandchildren, Brian Ernst, Lauren Ernst, Samantha Tuffin, Mallory Tuffin, Brandon Venegas and Madelyn Kaye Richardson; and great-great-grandchild, Leah Marie Ernst. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorena Keating; sister, Elaine Keating Fletcher; husband, George E. Rapier; and daughter, Marcy Jean Noonan. Pallbearers will be Ben Noonan, Jimmy Fletcher, Brandon Venegas, Mark Maritato, Mike Anderson and Gary Tuffin. Visitation at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, on Thursday, March 24, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, at 1:30 p.m.
