Carolyn Marie Gray Howard, a resident of Baton Rouge, formerly of Sabina, Ohio, and native of Oceanside, Calif., died peacefully Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her home. She was 67 and will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother and lovingly known as "Grammy" to everyone. She lived her life for Christ, her family and will be missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, March 25, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes on Saturday from 10 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Kevin McKee officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Ogea and husband Chad, of Baton Rouge; a son, Travis Howard and his fiancée, Ashley Vicknair, of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters, Madelyn and Hannah Grace Ogea, of Baton Rouge; her mother, Josephine Gray, of Sabina, Ohio; two brothers, George and Greg Gray; two sisters, Denise Gray and Joan Riley, both of Sabina.
