Our community has lost two of its great servants, Joseph Wayne Shows Jr. and Catherine Binning Shows to Covid 19 on August 21st (Joe) and August 28th (Catherine) 2021. Joe and Catherine loved to serve all. For family, they hosted many events whether it was holidays or a random weekend with food that would rival most restaurants. For the community, they cooked meals out of their house to feed those in need during the flood of 2016 and served several years in the local Lion’s Club. Their love, friendship, and kindness will be greatly missed to all who knew them. Joseph was born to Joseph Wayne Shows and Cecilia Ann Shows. Catherine was born to Marion “Sunny” McCelvy Binning and Marie Ruby Binning. Both were survived by children Michael Alan Eunice (Nancy), Joseph Wayne Shows III, Marcus Kyle Eunice, and Andrew George Shows (Claira) and 8 grandchildren. We love you Joe and Cat and will greatly miss your presence in this world. Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
