"Cecilia David St. Romain a native of Erwinville and resident of Baton Rouge was peacefully called home by GOD on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Everett St. Romain, daughter Janice "Jan" (James) Coussens of Baton Rouge, her sons Glen (Paula) St. Romain of Baton Rouge and David (Elba) St. Romain of Canton Georgia, four grandchildren Kimberly "Kim" (Eric) Merriam, Christopher "Chris" (Hai) St. Romain, Michael (Carolina) Mena, and Lauren (Brad) Madison, nine great-grandchildren Allison, Bridget, HaiAnh, Abbie, David, Sophia, Daniel, Connor, Ethan. She is preceded in death by her parents Doulie and Oneila David, three brothers Bertney, Afrie, and Lester David, and her sister Shirley Westbrook. Cecilia volunteered at Our Lady of the Lake's Pink Lady Group for 28 years as well as volunteering at the Seabrook Library in Texas for 6 years. Visitation is scheduled at St George Catholic Church Chapel on Siegen Lane for Monday September 17th at 9:00 AM followed by a mass at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the Paula G. Manship YMCA for the children's program, or a charity of choice.
