Carol Celeste Cahill, born October 30, 1962, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2023. Celeste was a graduate of Central High School class of 1980. She went on to attend and receive her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Louisiana Tech. Celeste was a teacher at the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired where she took great joy. She also served proudly as a teacher for the EBR Parish School System for 25 plus years. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Cahill; sons, Christian and Robert (Bobby) Cahill; father, John E. Forrest; mother, Johnnie Mae Rogillio Forrest; sister, Karen Forrest Thomas (Ty); aunts, Virginia Rogillio Becker, Ladonna Forrest; cousins, Barbara Meyn, Debra Kilcrease, Lance Mason, Ronny Forrest, Terry Forrest, Wayne Forrest, Kelly Forrest, Tonya Meyn, Dustin Kilcrease. Celeste is preceded in death by her grandparents, John W. Forrest, Lydia Forrest, Ethel Quinn Fryoux, James S. Rogillio, Clara Bell Rogillio; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. Celeste loved spending time with family and students and gave her everything to everyone. Pallbearers will be: Lance Mason, Carey Chenevert, Canaan Thomas, Seth Thomas, Hayden Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Debra Kilcrease, Barbara Meyn and all of her students. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9am-11am with a funeral service to begin at 11am at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
