"“ LindaChuck Haynes, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Sunday night, December 17, 2017, at 9:19pm, after a brief illness. He was 79. Chuck was a veteran of the US Airforce, and retired from Prison Enterprises, a division of the State of Louisiana, Dept. of Public Safety and Corrections. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, from 5pm until 8pm, and will resume on Thursday from 9am until funeral service at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Haynes; 2 daughters: Dana Frazier and husband Tony of Paris, TX and Tracy Dyson of Hot Springs, MT; and son-in-law, Carl Roberts. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Erin McDaniel and husband Dustin, Emily Frazier, Nicholas Miner and wife Katie, William Dyson and Christopher Dyson; his great-grandchild, Elliott McDaniel; his faithful dog, Sammie; and a host of caring friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Esther P. Haynes; and by his daughter, Stephanie Roberts.
