Charlie was born a special needs child in Orangeburg, South Carolina to David and Christine Humphreys. He lived in Baton Rouge, LA for many years. He finished in Hammond, LA in the care of Hammond Strawberry Fields, a special needs facility. Charlie was preceded in death by his mom, dad, and brother, Mike. He is survived by brothers, Russell, Patrick and his wife, Marcia. Followed by our children and grandchildren, Kristy, Madyson, Hunter and Brittany. Special thanks to all Charlie's caregivers, notably his adopted mom, Barbara Gordon. Charlie altered people's lives in a positive way. He never shed a tear except in laughter when he heard the song, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. To know Charlie was to love him, he will be greatly missed.
