Zizzi, Charles D.Charles passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Port Allen Care Center. He was 73, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a retired employee with DOTD. Charles was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Cathedral. Charles is survived by his brother, Francis J. Zizzi, two nieces, Dana Oubre and husband Barry and Staci Lambert and husband Jerry; and a nephew, Christopher Zizzi; three great nieces, a great nephew; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sheets and cousin, Chris Cangelosi. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David Zizzi, Sr. and Mary Ferrara Zizzi; and an infant brother. Visitation will be Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Joseph's Cathedral, 9:00 a.m. until a memorial mass at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Inurnment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
