

A wonderful husband, father, Paw-Paw, brother, uncle and friend to many. An honest man loved by all, always putting God first and taking care of others. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
Claude was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. He graduated from Baton Rouge High and entered the United States Coast Guard where he served for 6 years. He returned to Baton Rouge where he began his career with Thomas Equipment for many years. Upon his retirement, he continued working for the City of Baton Rouge, District 1.
Claude is survived by his wife Mary Lindeman Adams, daughters, Donna Davis, Kim Denson (Greg), Kelly Jenkins (Murphy), and Kristi Wilson (Scott). Grandchildren, Kristy Lynn, Jennifer, Monica, Amanda, Laura, Megan, Collins, Luke, Finn, Connor and Parker. Also, numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Sister, Denise Jeansonne (David), Sister in law, Elaine Adams and very special aunt, Dora Michelli.
Preceeded in death by his first wife and high school sweetheart, Shirley T. Adams, parents, Claude D. Adams Jr. and Ellen Adams, brother, Boyd R. Adams Sr., and special Aunt, Eva Metcalfe.
Services will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
Visitation 9:30 – 12noon with Funeral service at 12:00. Graveside services immediately following at Greenoaks.
Pallbearers will be Greg Denson, Murphy Jenkins, Scott Wilson, Collins Jenkins, Chad Roy and Luke Miller.
We will always treasure the wonderful memories-- our Christmas tradition of daddy’s homemade meatballs, camping, fishing, traveling, riding country roads, and enjoying beautiful sunsets.
