
Cleona Webre Dunlap, daughter of the late John Aristide and Cleona Webre, was born at Trinity Plantation inRosedaleon July 3, 1909. She died in Baton Rougeon Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at the age of 97. She is survived by six children, Cleona "Nonie" Parisi, Marilyn Baquet and spouse Dr. George Baquet, Leslie Nickels and spouse John, Dr. Kathleen Dunlap, Lester John Dunlap and spouse Monica, and Lillian Dunlap; and sister, Ruth Webre Burdick. Cleona had 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Dunlap; and numerous brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. Cleona was a graduate ofShadyGroveHigh Schooland attendedBaton RougeBusinessCollege. Her life's work had been her family, creating and maintaining a great circle of love for a large number of relatives and friends. When she was needed, she served in the PTA, Girl Scouts and Catholic Daughters. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2250 Main St., at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, with the Rev. Shelton Fabre, celebrant. Interment inRoselawnMemorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
