Curtis P. Rousselle, age 80, died at home on October 18, 2025. He was born October 19, 1944, in Edgard, Louisiana, the son of Eulalie and Theophile J. Rousselle Sr. He graduated from Edgard High School in Edgard, Louisiana in 1962. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1968. He married Mary Baker in 1969. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brothers Louis “Beb” Rousselle, Ralph “T-boy” Rousselle, Theophile “Tex” Rousselle Jr., and sister Grace Rousselle Landry. Surviving are his children, James J. Rousselle (Rhonda Rousselle), Katherine “Kathie” H. (Rousselle) Cruse (Johnny Cruse), David B. Rousselle; granddaughters, Faith M. (Rousselle) Bush (Elisha "Eli" Bush) and Haylie R. Cruse; great-grandson, Christopher "Odin" Bush; siblings, Roger Rousselle, Patricia “Pat” (Rousselle) Baudoin and many nieces and nephews.
A service of Remembrance will be held at 12:00 to 2:00 on October 24, 2025 at Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815. The burial will immediately follow at graveside.
