A retired petroleum and chemical inspector and resident of Landmark of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, May 26, 2008, at 6:30 a.m. He was 93 and a former resident of Arcadia. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, May 28, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation atIstrouma Baptist Church on Thursday, May 29, from 9 a.m. until service in the chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ron Lambe. Graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Janice H. Aymond, Baton Rouge, and Karen D. Hickman, Illinois; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Laura and Bruce Proctor, Prairieville, and Monique and Todd Burdette, Baton Rouge; three great-granddaughters, Simone and Ashleigh Burdette, both of Baton Rouge, and Rebekah Proctor, Prairieville; sister, Mickey Landrum, Mississippi; and brother, Kenneth Hickman, LaPlace. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arcadia and an alumnus of LSU. Preceded in death by his spouse, parents and three sisters.
