
A local businessman and president of Carlock and Associates, he passed away on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. He was 51. He graduated from All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg, Miss., and received his degree in accounting from LSU. He is survived by his wife, Jann Carlock; three daughters, Farran Morris Carlock, Brittany Cochran and Devon Cochran; mother, Mary Morris Wall and her husband, Dr. David Wall; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Eugene Simpson; sister-in-law and her husband, Lesa and Dennis Kelley; brother-in-law and his wife, Gary and Hope Benson; mother-in-law and her husband, Martha and Bill Beaston; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Preceded in death by his father, Daniel G. Carlock Jr. and brother, Daniel G. Carlock III. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Kelley, Edmond Haase, Dr. J. Michael Burdine, Clifton Tate Morris III, Dr. James Morris and Gary D. Benson. Honorary pallbearers are John Ogden, Brooks Hearn, John Newman, Byron Bienvenue, Jack Desemar, Andrew Simpson, Parker Kelley and Dr. Bryan Hathorn. Visiting at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Gerald Burns, celebrant. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.
