A son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, godfather, and friend of all, Denver was born on February 7, 1997 and lived a beautiful life until he was granted his angel wings on December 5, 2016. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, his life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Visitation on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, LA, from 10:00 A.M. until the start of Mass at 1:00 P.M. Following Mass will be a funeral service at Green Oaks Memorial Park. Survived by his loving parents Leland Ross Denison, Jr. and Brenda Brouillette Denison; sister London Michelle Denison and brother Chandler Ross Denison; grandparents Terry and Jeanette Brouillette, and Leland Denison, Sr.; aunts and uncles Tony and Cindy Taylor, Tony and Phyllis Brouillette, Clay and Cheryl Ainsworth, Stephanie and Ben Cliburn; cousins Christian Marchand and Hunter and Brandon Brouillette, Justin and Erica Taylor, Lauren and Caitlin Ainsworth, Ross and Travis Cliburn; blessed godchild Bradley Taylor; special family friend Nick Skuteris; and many more loving relatives and numerous friends. Preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Antoinette Denison. To all who know Denver, he will be remembered for his deeply religious mindset, nonstop quest for success, and vivacious clothing and lifestyle. His optimism and lax attitudes allowed him to always put a smile on people’s faces. Denver, a Catholic High Man of the Year, had no barriers for friendship and gave everyone a chance. He will be eternally remembered in our hearts and minds. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to Catholic High School to establish the Denver Ross Denison ’16 Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund. Because of Denver’s colorful personality, any attendees are more than welcomed to abstain from traditional black attire and sport more lively clothing. Pallbearers will be lifelong friends Mason Mann, Sammy Culotta, Davis Polito, Connor Bowen, Chase Priest, and Blair Bogan. Crossbearer will be Andrew Messina. Arrangements under the direction of Greenoaks Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA.
