Dianah "Dee" Jarreau

Dianah “Dee” Jarreau, a resident of Walker, LA, passed away at home on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 67. Dee worked for the Department of Recreation and Tourism and had a passion for music, singing and dancing. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Dee is survived by her daughters, Sybil Aven, and Missy Guillot and husband Tim; sons, William Avants and wife Taryn, and Josh Jarreau and wife Erica; brothers, Garland “Rusty” Avants, Johnnie Avants, and Ronald “Shorty” Brou Jr.; grandchildren, Jenna, Derrick, Sara, John, Adrianna, Julia, Garrison, Elijah, Rachel, Evan, Owen, Corban, and Rebekah; and one great grandchild, Addison. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Jarreau; and her parents, Henry Avants and Dorothy Brou. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 5pm until 9pm and resume Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 10am until funeral service at 12pm.
