Dollye Sue Foust Gremillion, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away at the Carpenter House on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 74. She was a native of Monroe, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She loved her family, traveling, and fishing. Dollye was an excellent cook and loved to feed people at family gatherings. Dollye was a graduate from Baton Rouge High School and National Beauty College, where she later retired as a cosmetology instructor. Dollye is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Lewis Gremillion, Sr.; children, John Bourgoyne, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, Sharon Stanford and husband, Lance, Laura Brownell, Lewis Gremillion, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, and Lori DeLaune and husband, Aaron; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Alexander Wallace, DeJuana Tackett, Evelyn Hagen, Ruth Bourgoyne, and Marian Williford. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Foust; brothers, James Wallace and John Foust, Jr. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 10 a.m. until Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
