
Donna was born on March 4, 1942, and passed away on July 16, 2012 in Baton Rouge at the age of 70. She was a 1960 graduate of Istrouma High School and a 1962 graduate of Baton Rouge Vocational College. Donna was primarily a homemaker, but also worked for the LSU Cooperative Extension Service and Athletic Department. Donna was a devoted member of Lanier Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on several committees. Her hobbies were flower arranging, creating themed bears, sewing, interior decorating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life include husband, Jerry Trice; daughters, Ginger Hebert Grantham and Amber Hebert Leach; sons-in-law, Tommy Grantham and Ben Leach; stepsons, Chuck and Mike Trice; daughters-in-law, Stacy and Michele Trice; grandchildren, Shelby Grantham, Hayden, Hannah, Griffin and Eliza Trice; siblings, identical twin sister Wanda Jurey Efferson, Ina Lynn Jurey, Clarence and Lewis Jurey, as well as many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Victorin Henry "Red" Hebert; father and mother, Bancroft Lewis and Rosie Carrier Jurey; sister, Shirley Jurey. Visitation will be Friday, July 20, at Rabenhorst East, from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, July 21, at Lanier Baptist Church, from 9 to 11 a.m., with homecoming services at 11 a.m. Interment following at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Services conducted by Reverend Mike Ferguson, pallbearers include Reid, Mark, Craig and Brian Jurey, Tony Sansone, Joseph Ferguson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lanier Baptist Church or St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge.
