
Doris E. Dicharry Bridges was born Feb. 14, 1926, and died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a retired registered nurse. Preceded in death by her husband, George P. Bridges Jr., and their infant son; her mother, Leola B. Dicharry; father, Roland J. Dicharry; sisters, Rae Marie White Veasey and Betty Carpenter; and brother, Raymond Dicharry. Survived by her son, George P. Bridges III, of Baton Rouge; daughters, Pamela Ann Bridges Davis, of Livingston, Billie Jean Bridges Ferguson Thibodeaux, of Baton Rouge, and Nancy Joe Bridges Severio, of Clinton; brother, Rolland Dicharry, of Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren, Lynne Williston, Robert and Daniel Davis, Heather and Clint Ferguson, Jason Thibodeaux, Buddy and Kristy Bridges and Jamie and Kelvin Severio; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Sept. 10, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until Mass ofChristian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Pallbearers will be Robert, Daniel and Cody Davis, George P. "Buddy" Bridges IV, Clint Ferguson, Kelvin Severio, Michael Carpenter and Jason Thibodeaux.
