

Doris Mae Aguillard Fox, ""MiMi"", age 88, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in Ventress on November 24, 1924. A resident of Baton Rouge for 70 years. She was a retired bookkeeper. Doris was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. She took great pleasure in dancing, going on cruises and travelling with her dearest and best friend Cotton Lloyd. She was a 1943 graduate of Rougon High School, member of the UCT and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home will be Thursday, September 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, September 20 from 10:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. conducted by the Reverend Dr. Richard Gates. Interment will follow at Greenoaks. She was preceded in death by parents, Rachel Leonard and Frank J. Aguillard, husbands, W. H. Adams, Jr., and Billie Fox, infant son Thomas Adams, brothers Frank R. Aguillard and Joseph Leonard Aguillard and step-son, Billy Fox. Doris is survived by daughter Debra Cooper and husband (Robert), son William H. ""Bobby""Adams III, and wife (Libby), five grandchildren, Brittany Adams, Quincy Vincent and husband (John), and William H. Adams IV and wife (Bonnie), Claire Stafford and husband (Will), Diane Fielding and husband (Russell), and four great-granddaughters, Bailey and Kate Adams, Adley and Trinley Vincent, and three sisters Mary Jane Free, Rita Church and Betty Bailey, and a step-daughter Donna Jo Taylor, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
