
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008. She was 79 and a native of New Roads. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Dec. 29, was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Collins. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Don Inzenga; four daughters, Karen Phillips, Jan Newman, Mary Johnstone and Phyllis Sorbet; two sons, Jay and Steven Inzenga; brother, O.J. Bello; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Ovide and Sophie Bello; brothers, Richard and Francis Bello; sister, Shirley Hathaway; and granddaughter, Jessica Inzenga. Pallbearers will be O.J. Bello, Ryan Inzenga, Kyle Johnstone, Chase Phillips, Phil Sorbet and Chevies Newman. Doris graduated from St. Joseph Academy High School in New Roads. She was full of life and dedicated most of her time to her six children and her husband of 59 years, Don, whom she loved very much. Doris' favorite hobby was playing golf with her many friends and family.
