She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John McConnell, of Baton Rouge; her son, Dr. Douglas McConnell (Laura) of Columbia, SC; and her grandsons, James McConnell and John McConnell. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Melva Durrett.
