Dorothy Morrison Warner was born in Baton Rouge on March 21, 1929, and passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at her home in Baton Rouge. Mrs. Warner retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Louisiana. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Billy and Donna Warner, and Tommy Warner; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dr. Ted Kemp; four grandchildren, Morgan and Lauren Warner, and Ben and Will Kemp; sister, Theresa Tumey; sister-in-law, Virginia Morrison; and brother-in-law, Russell Bankston. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Warner Jr.; son, Jeffrey Scott Warner; four sisters, Rita Higginbotham, Madge Martin, Shirley Bankston and Anna McAndrew; and brother, Bert Morrison. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Monday, Oct. 18, was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Hawley Wolfe. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Mrs. Warner was an avid LSU sports fan.
