A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at age 78. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen Alley, and Kay and Tommy St. Amant; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Betty Kelley, King and Janice Kelley, and Kip and Jaime Kelley; and five grandchildren, Brian Kelley, Katelyn Marie Alley, Nicholas St. Amant, Grace Kelley and Anna Claire Kelley. Preceded in death by her husband, Herschell Kingsley Kelley; and brother, J. Al Amiss III. Visitation at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Tuesday, Feb. 1, from noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Matt Lorraine. Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and LSU, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
