Ethel Brown Zachary

A secretary for 34 years with R.A.S. Management, Ethel died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008, at her home in Erwinville. She was 69 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visitation at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with the Rev. Alec Sheldon, celebrant. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra "Debbie" and Blane Coco, and Karen and Ronald Bello; sister, Millie Owens; three brothers, Jimmy, Joe and Charles Brown; four grandchildren, Cody Bello, Blake Bello, Alana Coco and Heather Coco; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Boudreaux and Amber Porche. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Zachary Jr.; mother, Mary Agness Brown; and father, Edward L. Brown. Pallbearers will be Cody Bello, Blake Bello, Luke Boudreaux, Chris Porche, Justin Brown and Max Soulier. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and an avid bowler.
