A retiree from the State Capitol with 35 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Jefferson Manor. She was 89 and a native of Amite. Graveside services will be held in Magnolia Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. She is survived by two nieces, Jeffrie P. Smith and husband Wedon, of Clinton, and Elizabeth Archuletta, of Long Beach, Calif.; nephew, Mark Parault and wife Elaine, of Clinton; and two great-nephews, Barrett Powell Smith and Bennett Baker Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Addison; parents, Thomas and Victoria Cutrer Jones; and brothers, Hoyt Hayden, Dan Hayden and Nelson L. Jones. She was a volunteer for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for many years. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Patsy Irwin, and the staff at Jefferson Manor, especially Mr. Rambo, for their loving care.
