Evelyn Lisenbee Paxton

Evelyn L. Paxton, a native of Clinton and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away at her home on Friday morning, March 25, 2022, at the age of 95. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lawrence; grandchildren, Jamie Ware and Scott Lawrence; three great-grandchildren: Somer Ware, Autumn Ware, and Coty Lawrence; and three great-great grandchildren: Chase Ware, Kinsleigh Toups, and Kaylea Toups. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Paxton; and her daughter, Mary Lou Taylor. She loved to go to dances at the VFW. She loved being around her family and friends, and spending time outdoors. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 10am until service at 11am. Burial will follow at Redwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Slaughter. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jack Ware, Kenny Caruso, Chase Ware, Chance Toups, Jeff McDaniel.
