Evelyn B. Welch

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Roy L Welch; her three children, Nathan Welch and wife Jennifer, Steve Welch and wife Laura, and Stephanie Howerter and husband Derek; nine grandchildren, Evan Welch, Jacob Welch, Christopher Welch, Scott Welch, Joshua Welch, Ashlyn Vaughn, Victoria Vaughn, Brianna Broussard, Brooke Howerter; five great-grandchildren, Ava, Bjorn, Holden, Emiliana and Emmett; and her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Rusty Walton. She is preceded in death by her parents, D.P. and Aline Boggins.

Evelyn loved her trips looking for antiques and arts & crafts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family wants to thank caregivers Denise Gray, Alexis Dorsey and Tynell Gray, whose loving care made it possible for her to remain in her home.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, located at 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, in the Chapel, on December 12, 2025, from 9:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am. Evelyn will be laid to rest in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers Christopher Welch, Scott Welch, Josh Welch, Evan Welch, Jacob Welch and Houston Laird.
