On February 6, 2024, Frances Broussard Bickham, age 95, peacefully left this world to enter the gates of Heaven. She was a native of Abbeville, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She is survived by her children, Robert, Jr. (Julia), Charles (Agnes), Adrienne Smith (Doyle), John (Sandy) and David (Karen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Bickham; her son, Benton Bickham; her granddaughter, Elisabeth Michelle Bickham; and grandson, Jason Smith. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Marie LaSalle Broussard of Abbeville, LA; and her 12 sisters and brothers.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, 5354 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70805 on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial services to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Frances lived a life of devotion to St. Gerard parish and her Catholic religion.
