
Forever in our hearts, she passed away at her home in Denham Springs on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at age 82. Survived by her children, Sam D'Amico, JT and Linda D'Amico, Alice and Douglas Gray Sr. and Judith White; grandchildren, Teesha, Sabrina, Joey, Soni, and Temple D'Amico, Jenny and Rob Tibi, Brandi and Antonio Perez-D'Amico, David Gray, DJ and Kayla Gray; and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, John T and Caroline Salpietra Jr., Joe Sr. and Joyce Salpietra, and Joanna Leblanc; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Beaux Barbier, Rose Coye and Shelby "Buster" Barbier whom she helped to rear. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. D'Amico; parents, John T Sr. and Mary P. Salpietra; siblings, Benjamin Salpietra Sr., Mary Barbier, Mamie Landry, Angie Pizzillo and an infant brother. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Monday, April 26, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 27, from 9 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for all their help and support and ask that donations be made to them in lieu of flowers. >
