Frank Salvadore Salario, a native of Baton Rouge, passed Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 78. Frank was a graduate of Catholic High School, LSU Monroe and Xavier University. He was an Air Force veteran and practiced for over 50 years as a pharmacist and Pharm. D. He was an entrepreneur, owning several pharmacy related business throughout his lifetime including Drugtown pharmacies and Option Care Home Infusion Services. He worked hard to successfully provide for his family, which was everything to him. He and his wife, Martha, built a close family over their 58 years together. He is survived by his wife and his children; Greg, Sabrina, Anthony (Tony), Marta and Stephenie. He was the proud grandfather to Zachary Perkins, Christian Perkins, Emily Bertholl, Caley Edwards,Tony Salario, Vincent Salario, Bri Ann Perkins, Nathan Salario, Blair Salario, Preston Horton, Ethan Debarbies, Austin Horton, Aiden Horton, Gregory Marcase and his great grandchildren; Bella, Asher and Sophia. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Vincent, who was waiting impatiently for him with a big smile. He was also welcomed by his sister, DeeDee, his mother and father, Angeline and Tony, and his dear Aunt Annie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church beginning at 11am until Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes all those that loved him to please support the St. Jude Hospital for Children. The Family would also like to thank his nurses at Pointe Coupee Hospice, especially, Amanda, who helped make his last days here more comfortable and peaceful. He was our rock, his toughness and big heart is the foundation of our family and it is what will last forever and we, his family and friends, will work to make him proud of us.
