

Boudreaux, Freddie JosephFreddie was a retired petroleum engineer with Department of Natural Resources Office of Conservation, with 40 plus years of service. He was a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Lockport, born on December 28, 1920. Freddie died at 5:00am Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his residence at the age of 94. Freddie was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Freddie is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Survivors are of different parts of Louisiana as well as out of state. He was preceded in death by his wife: Thelma H. Boudreaux; parents: Anatole&Velida Boudreaux; brothers: Eddie Boudreaux, Louis Boudreaux, Johnny Boudreaux and Eldon Boudreaux; sisters: Odelia Strohmyer and Beulah LeBoeuf. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Freddie was a graduate of LSU; a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW; a member of the Royal Order of Moose and Eagles, Krewe of Tucumcari, and was the Ball Captain in 1976. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Thelma H. Boudreaux Diabetes Foundation of Baton Rouge. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East is in charge of arrangements.
