

Frederick Charles Dupré, 82, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was a retired architect, an usher for Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for many years serving the needs of others. He was a U.S. Navy Submarine Reservist and also served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Fred is survived by his devoted wife, Marie Louise Dugas of 61 years; children, Lydia Young and husband Tom, Rick Dupré, Renée Harper Richter and husband Tim, Bret Dupré and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Joshua and Benjamin Young, Charlie and Bryan Harper, Holly Dupré Kelley, and Garon LeBlanc; 7 great-grandchildren with another on the way; and siblings, Marie Howes, Rogers Dupré and wife Wanda. He was preceded in death by his brothers Edward, Gerald, Webster, and sisters Stephanie Blanchard and Joan Rodrigue; son-in-law Charles Harper, Jr. Special thanks to Dr. Miletello for his loving care, support and devotion. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA, Thursday, December 18 from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
