"Fredrick W. Hemphill, a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 70 in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a United States Army veteran that served in the Vietnam War. He was also a Mason. Survived by his sons Douglas Hemphill, Chad Hemphill, and Chris Hemphill; 5 grandchildren, and one brother Michael Hemphill and his wife Lois Hemphill. Preceded in death by his wife Marie Hemphill, parents Wirt and Lillian Hemphill, grandfather Oscar Randall, and a sister Earlene Gray. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9AM until 11AM. A funeral service will be held at 11AM. Interment will be at Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 W. Mt. Pleasant Zachary Rd., Zachary, LA at 12:30PM.
