Gale McAdams Rich

Gale McAdams Rich, born Aug. 2, 1947, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. She worked for Groth Equipment Corp. of Louisiana in Geismar for the past 6 years. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Robillard and granddaughter, Morgan Robillard, of Livonia; mother, Marie McAdams, of Baton Rouge; father and stepmother, Ernest and Mary Joyce McAdams, of Denham Springs; brothers, Michael McAdams and wife Susan, of Baton Rouge, Brien McAdams and wife Kay, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Dean McAdams, of Baton Rouge; aunt, Shirley McAdams, of Baton Rouge; and devoted best friend, Pat Hemsell, of Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m. until service in the chapel at noon. Pastor David Buss of Trinity Lutheran Church, will conduct the services. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Gale was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clyde and Emma Fiske; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Nita McAdams; and sister in law, Robin Spence McAdams.
