Genevieve O. Johnson

Genevieve Johnson, native of Lone Pine, LA resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the age of 87. She spent her career life as a CPA Assistant until she retired. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her place of worship and church family from Comite Church of Christ. She is survived by her four sons, Ronnie and wife, Lelia, Danny and wife, Karen, Mike and wife, Jessie, Darryl and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Tuesdai, Warren, Brad, Ben, and Lucas Johnson; Nikki McDowell, Lauren Garcia; Allexis, Rachel, Ty, and Kathryn Lusk; great-grandchildren, Austin and Madison Taylor, Cole and Jesse Johnson, Dakota, Phoenyx, and Cy Johnson, Mason and Berkley McDowell, Harper and Liam Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years James W. Johnson, and her brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. until funeral services led by her grandson, Warren Johnson, at 12 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
